Opportunity for U21 faculty to teach at Fudan International Summer School
Classes are expected to be taught in English and most of the students attending FISS are undergraduates from Fudan and abroad.
In 2014 FISS, there were 159 international students from 26 countries and regions in attendance at the summer school, together with 52 Fudan local students. There were 16 courses offered in Chinese History and Culture; Chinese Society and Politics, Chinese Business and Economy, International and Intercultural Studies and seven Chinese Language classes of three different levels.
Each class of 2015 FISS includes 40 credit hours in four weeks. The proposed topics for classes include comparative China study on society, culture, history, economy and Global studies.
Fudan would like to offer a compensation package to the teaching faculty members a salary of 20,000 RMB, reimbursement of international round air tickets up to 20,000 RMB and free housing on or near campus.
