Record your visit!
If you have travelled on a U21 Staff Fellowship,
whether an Anniversary Fellowship or one organised by your own
university, we would be grateful if you could give us some brief
details about your trip on our online form. This will
enable us to build up a record of who has been travelling on
U21-related business, who they have met and what topics of
research have been covered, enabling us and future potential
Fellowship holders to be aware of who around the network is
working in similar areas of research.

U21 Anniversary Fellowships
In
addition to the Fellowships offered by some universities (see
below), to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Universitas 21 has
created a scheme to encourage staff mobility between
participating universities. Called Anniversary Fellowships to
mark the inaugural meeting of the network in March 1997, 13 of
the member universities will have funds available to foster the
triple network aims of collaboration,
co-operation and
comprehensive involvement.
The Fellowships will enable applicants to travel to and
undertake research at another member university in another
country for a longer period of time than is usually possible and
as such will be distinct from the ‘study tour’ which many member
universities are able to support from their existing internal
resources.
Each participating university will be promoting the scheme to
their staff over the remaining months of 2007 and reports of
Fellowships awarded will be posted on this site, together with
information about longer term collaborations forged through the
scheme.
