The 2014 U21 Graduate Research Conference will run from 1-4 July and will be hosted by the University of Auckland.

The theme of the GRC will be: Celebrating Ageing Research. Within the conference there will be four sub-themes:

  1. Making Ends Meet, which will focus on meeting the financial and economic needs of older people (economic/social focus)
  2. An Ageing Society: Growing Old and Staying Connected, which will have a social/cultural/demographic focus
  3. The Ticking Clock: Biological Aspects of Ageing, which will have a biological focus
  4. A Slippery Slope? Optimising the Health Journey for People as they Age, which will have a medical focus.

Each U21 member is asked to nominate up to five participants - two to give oral presentations and three to create posters.

Students may present posters or do oral presentations on any of the four subthemes themes. If members wish to nominate students who work in a different area of ageing, Auckland will also accommodate such nominations.

Registrations for this event will open on 1 April and close on 31 May. A dedicated web page for registrations is available via the link at the bottom of the page.
