The University seeks to create and maintain distinctive learning environments which foster academic excellence and which encourage students to engage in meaningful ways with their learning communities. It also regularly assesses the quality of teaching and learning. Under Growing Esteem, learning and teaching is deliberately informed by the other strands of the triple helix, research and knowledge transfer. Our aim is to produce exceptional graduates with specialised knowledge and understanding across a broad range of disciplines.
