The University of Nottingham is proud to be known at one of the most international universities in the UK with more than 6,600 students from over 140 nationalities studying on our UK campuses. Nottingham is a truly global university, world renowned as a centre for excellence. This is due to our research, much of which is recognised as being of international importance, as well as our reputation for teaching excellence. The University of Nottingham also has two overseas campuses, based in Malaysia and China.

Nottingham is one of the UK's most cosmopolitan and well-connected cities, based in the heart of the country and easily accessible by road, rail and air. It's a place that knows how to have a good time - there are many bars and restaurants in the city itself, a huge range of sporting facilities and some of the UK's best shopping centres.

Incoming U21 students are guaranteed a place in university accommodation if they apply by the deadline specified in their offer letter. We offer a wide range of accommodation that's conveniently located to our campuses, both self-catering and catered rooms. U21 students are eligible to join the free Welcome Programme in September and the Coach Pick-up service in January. Free orientation events are organised at the beginning of both semesters. U21 Social events are organised twice a year for both incoming and outgoing students.

Nottingham is committed to providing a personalised, academically focused experience. Exchange students take part in the regular undergraduate curriculum and study alongside home students. The International Office provides a focal point for all international students and there is a dedicated co-ordinator for exchange students. Each academic school also has a designated exchange co-ordinator who provides advice on academic issues.
