U21 Postgraduate Research Student Protocol

At the November 2005 meeting of the DDOGS, delegates recognized the importance of facilitating student mobility and endorsed the development of a U21 Visiting Postgraduate Research Student Protocol by member institutions. This proposal was confirmed by the U21 Presidents meeting in Auckland in May 2006. The link below provides background and details the commitments to postgraduate student mobility that institutions are encouraged to consider and adopt.

The following institutions have made a formal commitment to this protocol:

The University of Auckland

The University of Birmingham

The University of Glasgow

McGill University

The University of Melbourne

The University of Nottingham

A database of graduate students who have travelled on U21 PhD Scholarships is being collated and can be downloaded here.  If you wish to add yourself or your students to this database, please send details to Clare Noakes in the U21 Secretariat.
